  • Annual Association Dues Invoices will be placed in everyone's mailbox on December 31, 2007 (They will mailed to none-resident property owners).  The $600 annual dues are due no later than January, 31, 2008.  A $100 late fee will be assessed if the dues are not received by January 31, 2008.  A lien will be placed on any property  whose owner has not paid the annual dues, and any applicable late fee, by February 29, 2008.  Please note that PREHA members who have outstanding delinquent dues, late fees, or outstanding legal fees and costs loose all voting privileges with PREHA until such time as all amounts owed are paid in full.

  • PREHA's 2008 budget was presented at the association's annual meeting held on October 16, 2007.  The budget adopted by the Board calls for a $100 increase in the annual homeowner dues for 2008.  In the last ten years, since the current $500 dues were originally set, there has been an increase in the  cost of living of approximately 32%.  The increase in the annual dues is only 20%!  Additional information regarding this years P&L statement and  2008 budget  will be mailed to all members of the association in the next couple of weeks.  Under our covenants the budget and increased assesment  will take effect unless the budget is rejected by 51% of eligible voting members.

  • There was no need for an election for PREHA's Board of Directors for 2008.  There were only two individual who expressed an interest in running for a seat on the Board, and two Board members agreed to step down from the Board to make room for "new blood."  Gary Cramond and Rene DeRojas stepped down, while Alice Ivy and Lee Taulton will join the remaining Board members in January  2008.  Congratulations and thank you to Alice and Lee for stepping up to the plate, and thank you  Gary and Rene for your years of service to PREHA.

  • We are updating the neighborhood directory, if you have not returned the directory questionaire that was sent out in July, please do so immediately.  If the form is not received by October 15th your updated information will not be contained in the updated sections of the PREHA Directory.
  • Curb repairs have been completed.  Soon the street lights will be upgraded to provide better lighting in the neighborhood.  We have finally located a company that will straighten up all leaning street signs and replace the street signs that have been missing since Hurricane Katrina.  A new flag pole has been purchased for the front entrance to the neighborhood.
  • If you own a pooch please clean up after Rover.  There have been numerous complaints of dog droppings throughout the neighborhood. Please be considerate of your neighbors and clean up after your dog.
  • The Parish has begun drainage improvements along the northside of Pleasant Ridge Estates.  The trees that were on the servitude have been cleared.   A ditch is being dug down the center line of the forty foot servitude, and a 36 inch culvert will be install from Woodland Hwy, to Bayou Barriere. Drains will be isntalled at each lot. The lots affected are lots number 32 thru 41.  Thanks to all homeowners who cooperated in removing their fences and landscaping so that the work could proceed expeditiously.

  • New Primrose Gates and operating equipment have been installed.  The Board of Directors has decided to maintain the gates on the same schedule that they have always operated.

  • The fence at the front entrance, damaged by Hurricane Katrina, has now been replaced.  Thanks to Mark Mire who provided the labor free of charge.
